The delivery problem.

Teams needed automation that could scale across application layers and environments while producing release evidence engineers could diagnose and trust.

How I shaped the system.

  1. 1

Led five automation engineers and established shared framework standards, test strategy, and resource planning.

  2. 2

Designed Cypress and Playwright frameworks spanning UI and API coverage with resilient asynchronous handling and actionable assertions.

  3. 3

Distributed execution across multiple virtual machines while preserving artifacts, worker timing, retries, failure categories, and environment-health signals.

  4. 4

Connected AWS-backed test environments, data provisioning, automated Jira triage, Allure reporting, and Elastic Stack analysis into the delivery workflow.

What changed.

Created a clearer release signal that connected coverage, execution health, diagnostics, and risk-based triage instead of treating test results as an isolated pass-or-fail gate.

  • Multi-layer UI and API automation architecture
  • Parallel CI execution with complete diagnostic artifacts
  • Risk-based failure prioritization and automated defect triage
  • Technical leadership for a five-engineer automation team
